Prep time: 20mins Cook Time: 30mins
Ingredients:
1 large cauliflower
Corn Flour
Plain Flour
Paprika
Garlic & Onion Powder
Black Pepper
All Purpose seasoning
Mixed herbs
Plant based milk (we used oat)
Vegetable Oil
Aunty Val’s Hot Sauce
Method:
Cut cauliflower into large or medium florets. Wash & drain then leave to one side.
Place vegetable oil on a medium heat to get hot, in preparation for frying.
Pour a cup of your choice of milk, into a bowl
Add 1 tbsp spoon of garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, mixed herbs and black pepper to the milk.
Add 2 tbsp of corn flour and 3 tbsp of plain flour (gluten free options can also be used).
Whisk the mixture until smooth. You should have a runny, yet thick consistency that will coat the cauliflower. If not, then add more milk or more flour depending on your consistency.
Once the the coating is ready, coat as many florets that can fit into your pan and continue until complete.
Drain on paper towel.
Once drained place in a serving bowl and enjoy! Serve with Aunty Val’s hot sauce for extra fire!
